Unfortunately, in most cases - especially those candy bars so many of us love - the answer is probably not.
But researchers have found that flavanols, an ingredient of cocoa, “offer benefits for the brain by improving blood vessel function.”1 The research isn’t settled, but a little bit of chocolate, especially the dark variety, might actually be good for learning.
