- We get it - most kids would rather go to the dentist than do homework. And who can blame them?
Chatting with friends or heading to the park sounds way better than more math. So how to get them in the mood to study? Try having a great snack ready when they get home - a quick bite to fuel their brain and homework before play becomes possible.
Snack ideas:
PB and Apple - Apple wedges with some crunchy peanut butter is a classic. |
Smooth Study - One cup of milk, a couple cups of their favorite fruit and a cup of ice. Add a straw and voila! |
Cheese, Please - Cube some cheese and pierce with toothpicks. Crackers add crunch. |
Dip Baby Dip - Carrots or Celery + Ranch = Fantastic. |
Berry Smart - Plain yogurt isn’t exactly exciting. Add some berries and it becomes a tasty treat. |
Brrrain Food - Put their favorite juice in an ice tray and freeze for mini-popsicles. |
