Without breakfast, the body thinks it’s still fasting so it conserves energy and slows metabolism until you eat again4– valuable nutrients that could be fueling the brain are instead spent keeping the body moving.
A morning without breakfast can leave your children tired, irritable and unable to concentrate throughout morning classes, so send them out the door with full stomachs.
